I loved this game and still play it using my 6 disk set from time to time when I get bored. It is a great game and while I was playing it again this week I looked up where to find a hidden item and discovered they were revamping the game. Fixing old bugs, cleaning up the graphics, making it so you can play on a bigger screen, and adding new content to the old game.
I am going to get this when it comes out at the end of the month and if anybody else does it might be fun to play it as a group.
Does anybody remember playing this game?
I remember Bobby playing it, but I never did.
i have baldurs gate, i have the sword coast expansion, and i got the wintersomething or other that you could transfer characters to from one to the other game 🙂 it was fun 10 years + ago trying to figure out how to kill drizzt, you basically had to use summoning wants and send wave after wave of those guys at him so they could roll a 20 and scratch him, but you got some nice early items in the game! yeah great game for sure. i got all them cds too! lol
They redid the game now completely updated it to work on newer systems, larger screens, and other things. I have not got to play it yet because I downloaded it on my laptop, but my laptop is not really a gaming rig so to speak it. I am putting it on my desktop over the next few days.
And the trick to kill Drizzt is to get all your people on the small island then get two people one with a bow and one with some kind of summon spell, scroll, whathave you then hit him with the summon things and let the summoner get away from his LOS and let him attack the summoned things once you get out of sight he will not chase you and he will not fight the things anymore and you just have to wait and let the things kill him while your out of range. Sometimes he kills all the things you send at him before you can escape, and some times the things do not kill him before they de-summon, but if you save and load you can do it.
Give me the cheat codes for it and I will play it
Cheat Codes? There used to be a hack program or 50 that you could edit your game files to do whatever you wanted. It gets kind of boring, but it was the only way I beat the game on hardest mode.
Other than that it is no point in playing with that many cheats turned on.
