I recently watched Game of Thrones all episodes. I'm an addict. Spoiler, I'm amazed the old Night Watch guy is the TRUE Heir to the Iron Throne even though he renounced it. Yeh and Bran stark is actually going to meet the Children of the Forest

Do not get emotional invested in any character.

No kidding! Almost lost me after the red wedding episode. I really didn't wanna see Rob Stark die. Now if they kill off the Imp that's it for me! Probably...I think.

The Imp has not been killed off in the books as of yet. Things happen but not killed off.

The books are roughly based on the War of Roses
And some parts taken from the 100s Years War.

You have lots of things to go off of to make up stories from this time period.

Mad Kings, Power hungry Dukes, child Kings being locked up in the tower of London and never been seen again. A deformed King who is said to have killed his nephews. Houses fighting over the Throne.

House of Plantagenet - House of Baratheon
House of Lancaster - House of Lannister
House of York - House of Stark
House of Tutor - House of Targaryen

Now that you know that you can see where this is heading. However it might not work out that way the books are not done yet.

Ah yes, now I see the resemblance. I loved the Tudor series. That was very well done. Same director that's doing the Vikings I think. Which is also very good.

Martin needs to hurry up and finish the books. I started reading the books a few months ago and I'm almost done with the last. At least he gave the direction of the last 2 books to the directors of the show "just in case" he doesnt get them finished before the show completely catches up. Was interesting to see that clip with the white talkers a week or two ago. Something that may be spoiling the books actually with a new character.

Ivan and I binge watched it during a free HBO deal. Both got hooked but hate how liking a character almost guarantees they'll get killed off. lol Then we binge watched Orange is The New Black on Netflix. Both have excellent plot lines. I know everyone just watches them for the plot lines. 🙂

Here is a link to help with keeping up with all of the characters. It can get confusing sometimes as to where they are at.
