The land of dial up is rough. Wanting to play something, anything. May try to get AC running as it's pretty low bandwidth. Might try to get something installed on my laptop and add in some gaming while trudging along on research stuff.
My net is crap also. Dial up is better in some cases (besides downloads) than what I have. Have you ever played Bauldurs Gate? They came out with a enhanced version I like to play that. It is a large download to start but it should be a light weight on playing. It is not an MMORPG is is a single player RPG that can be multi player.
Currently dl'ing AC2 and already got ac1 and updates dl'ed. That's the good thing about having an empty room at local community college. You can do research work in silence and use wifi to dl games.
