The logo is in production, but the site is up:
Let me know what ya'll think!
Very good looking. Easy to get around. Looks like a winner.
Site looks nice. As a public school teacher, the content is rather offensive but to each his own.
I do not know if your doing this for a class project or your going to launch this idea for real, but there are a few issues I see.
First it is too orange for me, but that is a personal preference.
Second there are too many pages for too little information. I understand you hope to grow that site and add to it, but could some pages be combined so there is more content on each page. If your concern is people will not spend time reading the extra information present it in a FAQ format where your questions can be answered in a list format. ie.
What does TES mean?
What is the goal of TES?
How do you contact us?
Then you click on the question and it pops you to the answer, or you can read all the FAQs if you want all the information.
Lastly it took a few moments too long to load the first time, and unless your viewer is very interested in learning what is on the site then they will just move on. So adding a skip the intro link might be advised.
As for the content I like you if your in Texas and Mikill in Tennessee are all in the Bible belt. There is an arugement about the Godlessness in public school, But if you believe for one minute that many of the teachers at my school do not believe or allow students to express religions messages you would be completely wrong. The only people who have problems with it are parents of extremely radical churches who believe teachers and other students brand of Christianity is blasphemous. They are the ones that run to the school board and start complaining. Now I am not saying our school district does not follow the law when it comes to separation of Church and State, but really would you want government schools including religious instruction? What happens if a cult moves into one area and takes over the local school board? Then all the children in that area would have to listen to cult teachings all day long. Anyway the site is fine.
Good start overall on the site. I, like James, have some concern over the color scheme blinding me.
There was at least one typo on the "Obstacles" page (ahve) so you may want to run things through Word for spelling and grammar checks before adding to the site.
I didn't actually see any references listed if there were supposed to be some there.
"Logo Here" either needs to go or be replaced. thanks for the heads up G, missed that part of Bubba's post - please disregard
I was able to see pretty plainly the contact us option so not sure what James is referring to above. I also was able to see the mission statement to describe the goal.
I figured out that TES refers to "The Exit Strategy" but if you are going to use the term TES as a replacement you may want to find a way to work it into some () at the top of the page so people get it.
I won't get into a discussion here about my thoughts about the purpose/content right now, but if you want my input on that Bubba just let me know.
The "Logo Here" if something he said wasn't done. He is still looking for a logo.
I don't mind the colors.
Bubba did not ask for help with the content. If anyone disagrees please pm Bubba directly instead of having a public debate. Or start a debate thread. This should be about the website and it's function, appearance, and usefulness.
Your icons for FB and Tw are huge, reduce and move to the bottom,

might help with the logo
Thank you all who responded! I have already begun to either fix grammatical errors or look into how to fix other errors.
As for the content - I do know that it is divisive. I am also a teacher with a Master's in Ed Admin so I am not coming from a place of ignorance.
Again, thank you all for your help!
Bubba
Whose Ed Admin, he your site developer?
Is he related to Idi Admin, The Butcher of Uganda?
