So, I have this waiting for me at home...
Now I just have to make it through work... both the regular day job, and the teaching tonight. I won't be home until probably around midnight tonight, and of course I'll be thinking about this all day today!
Yeah!! ...and Ouch all at the same time, Brother!
Bang for the buck, this is one of the best deals out there for a laptop. 4th gen Core i7, 16BG RAM, GTX750 Video, 1080p display, etc. etc. I need the power for teaching. I need to be able to run 4-6 VMs simultaneously for demo and teaching purposes without slowing down the host machine, and this fits the bill. But yeah... ouch nonetheless!

This is what I came home to, sitting on my desk.
Here is what was inside the brown cardboard.
This was the packing job. Very professionally packaged. I saved the box to put the computer back in when we eventually have to move again, it was so good.
This one shows everything that came in the box. There is lot of other stuff in the pic, my apologies. The left side has the paperwork and CD's (drivers, etc). The box on the right has the power brick and cable.

Amazingly, this might be faster than my desktop. I have yet to really test its capabilities, but it hasn't faltered with anything I've thrown at it yet. So far, I'm pretty dang happy with it!
