Questions:
Do you partake in this tradition?
If so, how good are you at keeping the resolution?
If so, what is your resolution for this year?
If not, do you have any other New Year's tradition?
I don't usually make a new year's resolution. I think I will this year. I can remember this one new year's when Auroarah made this drink, I swear it was green and glowed. It was the funniest thing! I don't think she remembers much from that night!
I gave up on resolutions a long time ago as I was pretty bad at keeping them. I do however have one New Year's tradition - Every year I try to quit screwing up when I write the date by the end of January.
I have never done it before, but actually started mine a week ago:
1. To be a better husband to my wife. Make each day better than the previous.
2. Learn to play the guitar. This means being able to flip between: G, A, D, C, E. Also to master the various strumming patterns.
3. Get back to Weight Lifting. This means getting back to a two day on, one day off rotation with two days of Chest / Tris and two days of Back / Bis and then a day of Shoulders and Legs. Then repeat.
Bubba
PAUL! We do not discuss THAT particular evening!
(Also, I think that was Mountain Dew and some sort of blue something. That's all I got.)
As for resolutions, I'd like to resolve to manage my time better, i.e. no gaming for hours. I can't tell you how many times I've meant to just log in for an hour or so and the next thing you know, the day's gone.
I'd also like to be better about keeping in touch with my friends and family who aren't nearby. Bennett's family is half the country away from us and I want to make touching base regularly a priority.
