What is your favorite holiday treat? You know, the ones that pack on the pounds and taste oh so good. This can be from any holiday, not just Christmas.

-Maybe not so random since right now they are holiday themed, but I will expand on this soon =)

Sausage Balls are my weakness they are little bits of fat basically.

10 oz. cheddar cheese
3 cups Bisquick
1 onion, finely minced
2 cloves garlic, pressed
1/4 cup water or chicken broth
1 lb. sausage (hot or mild)
1/2 to 1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. each onion and garlic powder
1/4 tsp. ground sage or Bell's Seasoning (optional)
1/4 tsp. thyme
In
a skillet over low heat, break up sausage meat and simmer with 1/4 cup
chicken broth, sage, 1 chopped onion and minced garlic until sausage is
no longer pink, stirring often (about 15-20 minutes). Do not brown.
Season to taste with salt, pepper, thyme, onion and garlic powder. Let
cool for 10 minutes.

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Roll into 1-inch balls.

Place on an ungreased, foil lined cookie sheet and bake at 375°F for 12 minutes, or until golden and cooked through.

Oak Farms (formerly Sheppes) Egg Nog. Stuff has 400 calories per 8 ounces and I am totally addicted. Only thing that keeps me alive is that its only available between Halloween and New Years.

Reese's Peanut Butter Eggs (frozen). The trees and pumpkins and such are nice but for some reason they don't seem to match the original.

I like all the above listed...now I am hungry. THANKS!!

My favorite Christmas treat that I make is a Polish family traditional cookie that has been passed down to me. It is called Kolaczki, it is a creamcheese and sugar pastry with a dollop of fruit filling inside. It is very labor intensive and time consuming to make but they are quite delicious.

I have been making them for the past 10-15 years and the list of people that request them around Christmas has grown each year and is quite unmanagable these days 🙂

I also love the Jack Daniels Vanilla Spice Eggnog.

Maple Bacon Cheesecake. Yes, it is a real thing! Google it... G, don't have a heart-attack, but I made one and ate 4 slices before I could stop myself.
