A while back when Sony announced they were shutting down Vanguard, John Smedely the head of SOE made the following statement.
"SWG PLAYERS - OUR NEXT GAME (not announced yet) IS DEDICATED TO YOU," he wrote. "Once we launch it... you can come home now."

Umm... maybe I'm not understanding the correlation here, but how is a Zombie Apocalypse MMO a successor to SWG... spiritual or otherwise? Those are definitely two very different genres. Am I missing something?
This explains a great deal about Sony.
Because it will be a "sandbox" game or that is what they are saying. Own your on house, complex crafting system with changing resources, or that is what they are hinted at.
I saw the pictures back a few months ago and I said they were most likely a zombie type game.
Maybe more realistic looking avatars instead of cartoonish ones. I do not know how a person like Smedly thinks.
"The full game will feature a day night cycle, vehicles, a robust trading system, and thousands of online players." Those are the things like SWG everything else not so much. Or maybe they will add Jedi when the population numbers start to lag.
