Any SWG alums check out an emulator? Hope this doesn't violate our own FWH ToS but from what I can see it is completely legal and legit. I'm about to log into the game and pretty excited over here. If anyone else is interested, check it out!

Do you still have to have the original disks? I think I tossed mine a couple years ago.
You do, buuuuut they are cheap on eBay. Or you can torrent them, but you aren't supposed to.
I'm in there though. Still in beta I guess. I've just tooled around CNet a little. Combat seems slow but that might just be how it was. Leveling Rifleman, of course!

Oh, the one I'm using, and the one that seems to be the most popular - is SWGEmu. Coronet was hopping this weekend, it's a pretty populated server. Not quiiite like the old days, but close.
There was only two servers I could see the Nova Test and another starting with a B. Im on the B one as Weh-ttam Sllew.
Yeah Basilisk is the beta test server. I think there is a wipe coming and a new server, Suncrusher, in the next few months.
If I had time to load the game I would look at it. Does it have the 3 bars Health, Action, Mind or just the 2 bar set up?
HAM all the way baby! Straight SWG from when I started playing. Only difference was that when I logged in for the first time there wasn't Jakis there to greet me. 🙁
Messed around the last few nights. Working on a brawler as main profession and a artisian as secondary so I can build some mineral extractors and houses down the road. Funny thing is I could like this game alot again. I went in some houses to check out the decore and people have made some pretty sweet stuff.
Also you can create up to 10 characters if you ever wanted to try out different profs.
So how do you make this work? Is there a guide to set up the game or anything?
EDIT: NM..I found a guide. Pretty complicated but doable. I still have all my discs so I'll give it a try soon.
several guides out there. The main thing is need a set of disks. You wont need the key code just the disks.

Check out swgemu.com. You will need a copy of the game. Cheap on eBay if you tossed yours. I've heard you can torrent.
But check out that site, read the faqs, etc. it was easy for me...install to Cnet took me like 30 mins.
I seen a name the other night just before they logged off. Jaged Fel didnt we play with a guy back in the day with that name? Could be someone else but still the name strikes a cord.
Yes Jaged Fel was a swg member. I got the game installed. Did a few missions got a few boxes of skills filled in. It is fun. Name is Jakis and I sure wish i had that tuskin rifle now it made it so easy to level. I logged out in coronet but i might move to a new location once i get a house.
