I hit Novice Rifleman last night and the Bantha hides are amazing OQ right now on Tat. If your looking to kill something to grind on. All I had was Marksman 4XXX and Brawler X2XX Scout 4XXX and Novice Medic and was able to kill them (after buffs) with ease. They gave me 2k per kill.
Oh and a tip for anybody playing or thinking about playing. You can only make 1 character every 24 hours. So go ahead and make one a day for 10 days.
As I have read up on this now this is only in the Alpha phase. That means No JTL for the moment, No Droids, No CH. You can level them up but the code telling pets how to behave has not been completed so they are not letting them out yet. They say in publish 6 that will happen.
After they get all the parts in the game it will go to beta then the servers will be cleared after a long testing window. So far the Alpha has lasted over a year and looks like it will stay that way for awhile yet. The game is highly playable, but some features that were added in the game later when it was live are yet to be added.
So basically they have it back to the point SOE did when they released it to the public as live with a few pluses like swoops and player towns added.
