Interesting stuff... if you want to block all (or at least most of) that tracking, the in-browser settings aren't enough. John (Vystrel) turned me on to Do Not Track Plus. I highly recommend using it! You can install it in Firefox and Chrome. I've only had it installed for a couple months now, and it's already blocked nearly 8000 attempts to track me... which is just in my browser at work. I believe my home browser may have blocked even more tracking attempts.
